Hello everyone!

I hope that you all are doing well and trusting Jesus daily! He is our Rock and Deliverer! (Psalm 18:2; 18:46; 1 Corinthians 10:4) Thank God that He is the one that we can run to in times of trouble. This world in which we live has gone crazy it would appear, so many mixed signals out there. Do this, don’t do that, this is right, this is wrong. It is the most upside-down time that I can ever remember in my lifetime for sure.

But this too shall pass. The goal for the Christian should be to stay close to God, trust Him alone. History has taught us that we cannot trust the government to take care of us. It should be our goal to trust in the Lord. Do not allow the government or anyone for that matter force you to disobey God and His Word. Keep following and keep trusting, what about the children of Israel at the Red Sea? Pharaoh coming up behind them with his army and a seeming impassable body of water in front of them. They had no choice but to trust God and He came through for them! Folks, we have the same God today (Malachi 3:6; Hebrews 13:8), there is no reason not to trust Him during this uncertain time in history.

We need to continue to be the church, the light to the world, a committed group of baptized believers, on fire for God, and on mission to a lost and dying world! You and I need to continue to trust and obey, for there is no other way, to be happy in Jesus, but to trust and obey! We will be back in the church house soon, be praying that many will stay faithful and return with us. For corporate worship, for fellowship, laughing and crying together, to rejoice together! Our God is still on the Throne! So I say rejoice in the Lord!

I would like to leave you with this from the Book of Joshua, “…Be strong and of good courage; be not afraid, neither be thou dismayed: for the LORD thy God is with thee whithersoever thou goest” (Joshua 1:9). God is taking care of us, sit back and watch the salvation of the Lord.

Blessings! Have a great rest of the week!

Pastor
