Hello everyone! I took a while off from writing my blogs, I really ran out of inspiration to write them. But, I’m back! This past Sunday was the Fall kick off at Castledowns Baptist, we had our highest attendance since Trish, and I arrived back in late February. It was the fifth week in a row of first-time guests and our Children’s Church kicked off. It was a great day all in all. Many new faces and people to meet.

The Fall is my personal favorite time of year. The crisp air and smells of Fall are very nice to me. I finished up a sermon series on Roads of the Bible, I think that it went well. So, we will be endeavoring to continue the streak of new folks as we progress into the fall.

The world is still going crazy, people act like they have no sense whatsoever. People killing law enforcement officers and others cheering while they do it. It is a very sad time in which we live today. The one thing that we, as Christians, can count on is that God is aware of what is going on. He does not approve of it by any means, that is for sure. But, in the end it will work out the way the Bible says it will in the end. Continue to tryst Romans 8:28, “And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them that are called according to His purpose.” (KJV).

It does not mean that everything will be good, what it does mean is that if you will just hang in there and allow God to work, it will be for good in the end. That is the hard part for many, allowing God to work out His plan, in our lives and in the lives of those that we love. But I encourage you to do it anyway, no matter how hard.

God is on the Throne and He does care, do not be weary and quit of Him. “And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.” (Galatians 6:9 KJV)

Have a great rest of the week and keep on trusting God, He is never late, but always on time!

More next time.

Pastor
